Travel in Naples
When looking to maneuver around the city of Naples you have a few options to keep you busy throughout your trip. Most people that visit Naples will arrive by car. Often this is because it can be difficult to fly into the city of Naples. There is an airport just outside the downtown area of Naples. Most of the flights that arrive in the airport are privately owned. Gulf Stream Airlines does provide people a domestic carrier to fly into. When inside the city you will be able to rent cars from Avis, Enterprise and Hertz from the airport. For others it is necessary to fly into other cities such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
If you like to travel by train you will be out of luck making your way to Naples. The closest train stations are in Miami and Tampa. Once inside the city if you are looking to make it around the town there is a trolley that you can use. Naples Trolley Tours gives a 2 hour tour that will take you around the city. For people who like to explore on their own they will be able to get off at any time. Once you are ready to get back on just wait at one of the trolley stops.
